External contractors set up HSE-approved scaffolding at the front of the property to give our team safe access to the roof.

Out with the Old

• Removed the worn-out flat roof covering, boards, and rubber on the copings.
• Treated the joists with timber protection to keep them in great shape.

A Strong New Roof Deck

• Installed a sturdy OSB Smart-Ply roof deck.
• Applied water-based glue to secure everything in place.

Long-Lasting Flat Roof Covering

• Fitted a Classic Bond EPDM flat roof covering, known for its 50+ year lifespan.
• Extended the EPDM under the first few rows of slates and up the abutment walls for a watertight seal.
• Finished by wrapping the rubber over the abutment tops for extra protection.

Upgrading the Box Gutter

• Added high-performance gutter trims, kerb trims, and wall plates where needed.
• Used corner patches and primer for a secure, durable finish.

Tile and Felt Repairs

• Removed a few rows of roof tiles near the bottom of the roof.
• Replaced the old battens and underfelt with new materials.
• Installed Klober Permo Extreme underlay for extra protection on low-pitched roofs.
• Reinstalled roof tiles, replacing any broken ones for a neat finish.

Once the job was done, we cleaned up thoroughly and left the property looking spotless.
