For this project, we carried out a full flat roof replacement on a roof, ensuring a long-lasting, weatherproof finish. Work commenced after a HSE-approved scaffolding tower was provided by external contractors. This allowed our team to securely access the flat roof.

We then removed the old roof covering and timber boards, inspecting the underlying joists for any damage. Where necessary, we applied a 5-star timber treatment, preventing rot and strengthening the structure for long-term durability.

One of the key benefits of this upgrade was improved insulation. To meet UK building regulations and enhance energy efficiency in the living areas, we installed super quilt insulation. This helps to keep the home warmer in winter and cooler in summer, reducing energy bills and improving comfort.

Next, we fitted a new OSB SmartPly roof deck, providing a strong and stable base for the new roofing system. To ensure long-term protection, we installed a Classic Bond EPDM flat roof covering, a premium material with a lifespan of over 50 years. This high-performance system is completely watertight, weather-resistant, and low-maintenance, making it an excellent investment for any homeowner.

To complete the roofing work, we added high-performance gutter trims, kerb trims, and wall plates, along with corner patches and primer to reinforce all joints and corners, preventing leaks and water ingress.

Enhancing the Look & Functionality with New Fascias & Guttering

As part of this project, we also replaced the home’s fascias, guttering, and downpipes, ensuring a smart, modern finish while improving water drainage. We began by removing all the existing wooden fascias, guttering, and downpipes, which were aged and weathered.

We then installed full replacement white UPVC fascia boards, offering a maintenance-free solution that will never rot, warp, or need repainting. To complete the installation, we added new white square UPVC guttering and downpipes, designed to efficiently channel rainwater away from the property, preventing water damage and damp issues.
